Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation and food handling tasks, ensuring safety and cleanliness standards are met
• Operate POS systems for accurate cash handling and transactions
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders efficiently, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to maintain smooth service flow and minimize wait times
• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including food prep stations, dining space, and equipment
• Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or retail environments
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization options
• Familiarity with POS systems for sales processing and cashiering
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests
• Effective time management skills to handle high-volume periods confidently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper food preparation techniques
