RESPONSIBILITIES

The BIGFACE Shop Advisor will be assigned to a position within their shift for pre-/during/post-service. The Shop Advisor is equally responsible for working collaboratively with their team and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the entire space during service. Shop Advisor is expected to:

  • Build knowledge and have the ability to work all floor positions, including register, espresso, expo and retail
  • Receive and inventory all packages and deliveries and report any issues to management in a timely manner
  • Prepare all menu items, both in pre-batching preparation and made-to-order
  • Report and resolve any equipment malfunctions, including espresso machine, grinders, Marco Tap, sinks, POS, fridges, AC, etc. and directly contact and resolve any respective technicians and companies
  • Continuously and passionately communicate BIGFACE values and brand vision towards guests and fellow team members
  • Work collaboratively with other Shop Advisors, Store Lead and Store Manager to achieve daily and weekly targets, preparations and cleanliness, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Supporting the team throughout breaks to alleviate the workload
  • Handle and resolve any guest concerns or complaints with compassion and care, and share back to management
  • Report low and 86 ingredients, supplies and merchandise when noticed
  • Follow BIGFACE and Onyx coffee guidelines and procedures to uphold our quality standard
  • Take initiative in tasks to stay ahead of service, keep the space clean and spirits high
  • Act as an example to their team on exceptional customer service, a warm, positive attitude and a united-front mentality
  • Have previous experience in coffee or related drink/cafe environments
  • Ability to work mornings, weekdays, weekends and holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
