Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Engage with customers in a warm, friendly manner to enhance their café experience
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
• Manage food preparation and food safety standards, ensuring all items are prepared according to health regulations
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food handling stations and seating areas
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and retail math calculations
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in food service roles within cafés or restaurants
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively
• Effective time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and proper food preparation procedures
