Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Engage with customers warmly, taking orders accurately and providing friendly, efficient service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy using proper cash handling procedures
• Follow food safety standards and food handling protocols to ensure quality and safety in all food-related tasks
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining high standards of service

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience or background in coffee or food service is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move quickly between tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in serving or retail environments within the food industry is advantageous
