Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of coffee beverages and specialty drinks with precision and flair, ensuring quality standards are met consistently.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas, adhering to proper food handling procedures.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers efficiently while maintaining high service standards.
• Assist with food preparation and serving, including handling bakery items, snacks or light meals as needed.
• Support cash handling responsibilities with basic math skills to process payments accurately and balance registers at shift end.

Experience

• Previous barista experience in a fast-paced café or food service environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and beverage customization.
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly advantageous.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, food handling procedures, and serving best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.50 per hour
