Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Handle food preparation and food handling tasks in accordance with food safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing needs promptly
• Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and seating areas
• Support food service operations by assisting with food delivery, serving orders, and ensuring timely service

Skills

• Proven experience as a Barista or in the food industry with strong coffee experience
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for smooth transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Strong sales skills to promote menu items and upsell when appropriate
• Exceptional customer service abilities to create a welcoming environment for all guests
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, food preparation, and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience in serving, cashiering, or retail environments is highly desirable

Pay: $13.00 - $23.00 per hour
