Barista / Café Associate (Part-Time)

Theo’s General Store is a new gourmet market and coffee bar in Wilton. We serve specialty coffee, small-batch baked goods, and a curated selection of homewares and pantry items. We’re hiring experienced part-time baristas who value great coffee and enjoy working in a thoughtful, aesthetically driven retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality espresso and coffee drinks using our La Marzocco setup
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service
• Operate the POS/register
• Assist with merchandising: arranging home goods, organizing shelves, maintaining clean displays
• Receive and organize inventory across grocery, coffee, and homeware categories
• Handle pastries and basic food items safely
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace
• Follow opening and closing procedures

Requirements

• Barista experience required (specialty coffee strongly preferred)
• Strong communication and reliability
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail — in both drink preparation and retail presentation
• Must be 18+
• An interest or experience in design, merchandising, or curated home goods is a plus

Schedule & Pay

• Part-time only
• Weekday + weekend availability required
• Competitive hourly pay based on experience
