Barista – Key Responsibilities

Beverage Preparation & Service

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and specialty beverages, including espresso-based drinks, teas, and non-alcoholic beverages, in line with premium hospitality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all beverages.
  • Provide personalized recommendations to guests and deliver an exceptional coffee experience.

Bar Operations

  • Set up, organize, and maintain the coffee station before, during, and after service.
  • Monitor stock levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and related supplies; assist with ordering and inventory control.
  • Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at all times.
  • Minimize waste and follow proper portion control procedures.

Guest Engagement & Upselling

  • Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Upsell premium beverages, pastries, and add-ons to enhance the guest experience.
  • Stay updated on coffee trends, brewing techniques, and product knowledge.

Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
  • Follow company policies and operational procedures at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 2–3 years’ experience as a Barista in a high-end café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso machines, and specialty beverages.
  • Experience in delivering high-quality guest service in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

Good communication skills; fluency in English required.
