Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Greet customers warmly, taking orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety and handling standards
• Manage cash handling duties, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions
• Assist in food preparation and serving, ensuring quality standards are met at all times
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and resolving concerns promptly
• Support inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry background preferred; passion for coffee is a plus!
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to food service and preparation
• Basic understanding of food industry standards and retail operations
