Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling
• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas
• Handle food safety protocols diligently, including proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation practices
• Manage cash register transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and retail math calculations
• Support food service operations by assisting with food preparation, serving snacks or light meals, and restocking supplies

Requirements

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and beverage presentation
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift light loads, and work in a fast-paced environment
