We are seeking fun, dependable, and high-energy individuals to join our team as part-time and/or full-time Baristas & Cashiers
A Baristas must demonstrate the ability to multi-task under pressure in a fast-paced environment and utilize skills to accommodate each guest with an excellent-consistent product and experience. We are looking for exciting individuals that have a great attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to genuine hospitality.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and have a calm demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Prepare bubble tea drinks adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
- Answering phones
- Maintains a clean and organized work space so that team members can locate resources and product as needed
- Assists with new team member training by reinforcing successful performance and encouraging coaching as needed.
- Taking to go orders and handling payments accurately
- Outgoing, friendly and courteous demeanor
- Attention to detail and ability to stay organized
- Effective communication skills in various situations
- Adheres to sanitation, health, safety, and control policies.
- Assists guests in selecting food and beverages by presenting menu; offering beverages; suggesting snacks; answering food preparation questions
- delivering accompaniments and condiments as needed
- Maintains table setting & cleanliness
- Removing dishes as completed
- Replenishing utensils & supplies
- Accurately processes payment and cash handling with our POS, returning change or credit card and signature slip to take-out guests
- Interacts with the staff and guests in a positive manner as to achieve our desired result of achieving 100% guest satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the menu to assist with guest inquiries/requests as well as be able to accurately identify food and beverage items
- Completes tasks for each shift according to the needs of the restaurant.
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established and or altered by DOMOISHI from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination. Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the restaurant. Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with the DOMOISHI rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of our establishment. Employees who violate the DOMOISHI rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination.
Qualifications:
- Education: Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High school education is preferred.
- Experience: Preferred (1) year restaurant/retail experience required.
- Licenses or Certificates: Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates. For example: Local health department certification and ABC control board certificate. CPR certification and/or first aid training.
- Grooming: All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well groomed appearance (specific standards available in our employee training manual)
