Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, beverages, and light food items with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently
• Handle cash transactions, give correct change, and manage cash handling responsibilities with integrity
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and addressing special requests
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the café area, including food preparation and handling
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality
• Support food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure a safe environment for all guests

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge preferred; enthusiasm for learning is essential
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk comfortably around the café area, and lift light supplies as needed

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.26 - $25.60 per hour
