Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their café experience
• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with accuracy and flair
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and payments
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and dining spaces
• Assist with food handling, basic food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
• Manage time effectively during busy hours to ensure quick service without compromising quality

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
