Barista/ Coffee Staff

• We are looking for a Barista/Sales Clerk to prepare and serve coffee drinks.
• Sunday and Monday 6:30am-10:30am (4 hour shift each)
• Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8am-10:30am (2.5 hour shift each)

To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and previous barista experience. Availability is for morning or afternoons shifts.

Note: this position’s compensation includes salary and tips.

• Responsibilities
• Greet customers as they enter
• Give customers drink menus and answer their questions regarding ingredients
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios)
• Prepare beverages following recipes
• Serve beverages and prepared food, like cakes, pastries and croissants
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep the back kitchen area clean
• Maintain stock of clean cups and plates
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to manager Skills
• Previous work experience is a MUST as a Barista
• Hands-on experience with Manuel equipment
• Knowledge of sanitation regulations
• Basic math skills
• Ability to gauge customers’ preferences
• Excellent communication skills

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
