Role Overview

The Barista plays a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing and serving high-quality coffee, specialty beverages, and light food items. They ensure consistency, cleanliness, and efficiency in daily café or restaurant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based drinks, cappuccinos, lattes, and other hot/cold beverages.
• Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and brewing equipment.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of all beverages.
• Provide excellent customer service, handling orders and payments professionally.
• Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in line with Qatar’s food safety regulations.
• Assist with stock management, including ordering and replenishing coffee beans, milk, and other supplies.
• Support upselling of menu items and café promotions.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as a Barista or in the F&B industry preferred.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods (espresso, French press, pour-over, AeroPress).
• Ability to froth milk and create latte art.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Working Conditions

• Flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Fast-paced café/restaurant environment.
• Standing for extended periods.
