Barista Manager

Job Summary

Duties

• Lead daily café operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer experiences
• Supervise and motivate baristas and staff to deliver top-tier service with a positive attitude
• Manage cash handling, POS transactions using Square POS, ensuring accuracy and accountability
• Oversee food safety standards, proper food handling, preparation, and serving procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Train staff on coffee preparation techniques, food service protocols, and customer engagement strategies
• Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; place orders as needed to prevent shortages
• Implement sales strategies to boost revenue while maintaining high standards of quality and service

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Barista with strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and food handling practices
• Previous management or supervisory experience in a café or retail food environment
• Familiarity with Square POS systems for cash handling and sales processing
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues promptly and professionally
• Basic math skills for cash register operations, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation procedures
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment
• Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced café or retail setting is highly preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
