Restaurant Manager

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at our Papa John’s location.

This role requires a strong leader who can effectively manage employees, control costs, and drive operational performance. The majority of this position focuses on team leadership, accountability, and operational execution.

This role is accountable for overall store performance, including staffing stability, labor control, food cost management, and sales growth. The Restaurant Manager has full responsibility for day-to-day operations and team performance. We are looking for a leader who takes ownership, leads by example, and sets high standards for their team.

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Financial Leadership:

  • Protect profitability through smart labor management, food cost control, and operational discipline
  • Read and interpret key business reports, including P&L statements
  • Build efficient schedules to manage labor effectively and minimize unnecessary overtime
  • Oversee weekly inventory and ensure accurate food cost management
  • Place responsible, data-driven food orders based on current inventory and projected needs
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports to understand trends and operational performance

Team Leadership & Culture:

  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Create accountability while maintaining a positive, motivating culture
  • Lead by example during high-volume shifts
  • Ensure brand standards and customer service expectations are consistently met

We are seeking a manager who understands that taking care of operations, people, and costs naturally leads to strong performance.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of restaurant management experience (QSR preferred)
  • Strong experience managing employees and team accountability
  • Proven ability to control labor and food costs
  • Experience with inventory management
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a major plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
