Barista Shift Leader

We bring a premium specialty coffee experience to exclusive corporate events, weddings, and high-traffic markets across the Chicagoland Area. We’re looking for reliable, professional baristas who are passionate about precision and hospitality.

The Standard (Please Read Carefully):

This role is specifically for experienced coffee professionals. This role will involve you being a barista at our events or in some cases using a company cargo van to drive / set-up for events. To maintain our quality standards, we require:

• Specialty Experience: You must have a background in a high-volume, specialty "third-wave" environment.
• Technical Proficiency: We use La Marzocco equipment. You must be confident in dialing in espresso and managing manual extraction independently.
• Milk Mastery: If you can’t consistently produce high-quality micro-foam and latte art under pressure, this isn't the right fit. We are looking for pros who understand the chemistry and craft of the pour.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Precision Brewing: Dial in, pull shots, and serve high-quality espresso and matcha drinks.
• Advanced Steaming: Maintain proper texture and temperature for all milk-based specialty drinks.
• Hospitality: Provide a friendly, engaging, and professional experience for every guest.
• Station Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient mobile workstation.
• Reliability: Represent the brand with punctuality and a positive, proactive attitude.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous professional barista experience in a specialty cafe environment.
• Mobility: Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Professionalism: Punctual, reliable, and well-presented.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
