Job Summary

As a team member, you'll handle crafting drinks, taking orders, and creating memorable experiences for our guests at our cafe located at the Royal Hawaiian Center.

Pay

We offer a competitive starting pay of $16.00 for the Team Member position, with the possibility of increases based on available positions + TIPS.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve teas, coffees, and other beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.
• Ensure a clean and organized workspace, including the maintenance of equipment and utensils.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and courteous manner, addressing their questions and providing excellent service.
• Restock and replenish inventory as needed to meet customer demand.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth workflow during busy periods.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup tasks.
• Stay informed about menu offerings to effectively communicate with customers.

• Multi-tasking: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and restocking.
• Time Management: Efficient time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
• Food Safety Knowledge: Awareness of food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a hygienic workspace.
• Availability: Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.
• Previous Food Service Experience (Preferred): Prior experience in a similar role within the food service industry.
