Moka & Co. is looking for a Barista Trainer with proven hands-on experience to join our growing coffee team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about coffee education, quality standards, and developing barista skills to an international level.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct professional barista training sessions (basic to advanced levels)
- Train teams on espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, and beverage consistency
- Develop and deliver structured training programs and SOPs
- Ensure brand and quality standards are consistently met across outlets
- Support new café openings with on-site training and assessments
- Provide ongoing coaching, performance evaluations, and refresher training
- Train on proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines and grinders
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Barista Trainer or Senior Barista (minimum 3–5 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and espresso equipment
- Experience in specialty coffee environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and lead barista teams
- Professional certification (SCA or equivalent) is a strong advantage
- Experience in the GCC/Qatar market is a plus
