Your Role on the Team

• Craft high-quality espresso beverages with latte art
• Provide warm, knowledgeable customer service
• Assist guests with bakery product selections and complete transactions
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety
• Contribute to daily tasks: dishwashing, bussing, sweeping, mopping, restroom upkeep
• Keep products stocked and the store organized
• Thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2+ years in barista and/or customer service roles
• Food Safety: WA State Food Handler's Permit (required)
• Reliability: Punctual, adaptable, and a strong team player
• Physical Requirements:
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs
• Comfortable standing for long periods and climbing stairs as needed
• Able to work in a busy, loud environment
• Professionalism: Friendly and respectful with both customers and teammates
• Dress Code: Able to comply with Health Department standards during all shifts

Position Details

• Location: 2650 NE Village Lane, Seattle, WA 98105
• Store Hours: 8 AM – 6 PM (open seven days a week)
• Availability: Must be available between 7 AM – 7 PM (flexibility preferred)
• Shifts: 4–8 hours per shift
• Weekly Hours: Part-time, 18 – 25 hours/week, with opportunity for more hours during the busy season (June-September)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20.76/hr + tips (average $7–$9/hr)
• Tip Pooling: Shared across all hourly staff (baristas, sales team, bakers, prep, etc.)
• Healthcare: 50% reimbursement for full time employees working 34+ hours/week after 60 days (includes medical, vision, and dental)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $21.30 - $29.76 per hour
