Barista/Bartender

Job Summary
Peaky Peak Coffee & Cocktail Lounge is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Barista/Bartender to join our growing team. We’re not just pouring drinks — we’re crafting moments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology, hospitality, and the art of creating both coffee and cocktail experiences that guests remember. As a Bartender, you’ll prepare and serve a variety of beverages — from craft lattes to signature cocktails — while keeping our bar area organized, welcoming, and in line with food safety standards. Your creativity, attention to detail, and exceptional service will help shape the warm, relaxing environment we’re known for.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including specialty coffee drinks and signature cocktails, according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Keep the bar and coffee station clean, stocked, and well-organized at all times.
• Ensure all beverage preparation meets food safety and hygiene standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner — taking orders, answering questions, and creating a memorable experience.
• Operate POS systems for order processing and payment handling.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
• Assist with light food preparation when needed, following safe food handling practices.
• Work closely with fellow team members to maintain smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience as a bartender, barista, or in beverage preparation preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with POS systems preferred but not required.
• Strong time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and a warm, approachable demeanor.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling regulations.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales calculations.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
