Barista/Cashier

We are looking to hire baristas to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. We want to hire you if you have a great personality, enjoy working in a face paced in environment, have a love for coffee/food, and have barista and milk steaming experience. If you don’t have barista experience, you will still be considered as long as you are willing and able to learn and excel. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and basic common sense. Note: this position’s compensation includes hourly pay and tips.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter
• Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences)
• Prepare beverages
• Bag bread/pastures
• Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards)
• Keep counter/shop areas clean
• Maintain efficient stock on customer supplies
• Comply with health and safety regulations
• Communicate customer feedback to managers/owners

Skills

• Previous work experience as a Barista or within the service industry
• Weekday and weekend availability (2-4 shifts per week)
• Excellent communication skills
