Barista/Cashier (experience required)

Overview
Pit Coffee is opening a band new location in Richland Hills. We are seeking an experienced, passionate and enthusiastic Barista to help bring our new space to life. We would like to hire someone that loves animals and has a vibarant personality! Training will be in person at our Pit Coffee - Fort Worth location at 2747 8th Ave, Fort Worth, TX 76110.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and manage cash flow effectively.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment and workstations.
• Engage with customers, providing friendly service and helping them with their orders.
• Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
• Stay knowledgeable about menu offerings, including seasonal specials and new products.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista
• Familiarity with cash register operations and POS systems is a plus.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• A genuine passion for coffee and the ability to help customers find their perfect beverage choice.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when interacting with customers and team members.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
