Barista/Cook/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista / Cook to join our team at Crepes On Main. As a Barista / Cook/ Cashier, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, crepes while providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Your role will involve engaging with customers, taking orders, and ensuring that every drink meets our quality standards. If you have a love for crepes, coffee, milkshakes, and enjoy working with people, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, milkshakes, ice cream, Sweet and Savory crepes and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
• Manage orders with TOAST system for order taking and cash handling efficiently.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their selections.
• Maintain cleanliness of 1 stall restroom, work area, including equipment and supplies as needed.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
• Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy periods.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages promptly.
• Engage in sales promotions and upselling techniques to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service and customer service.
• Familiarity with TOAST systems, is a plus but not required.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling transactions.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• A positive attitude with a willingness to help customers and team members alike.
• Knowledge of food safety practices is desirable.
• Willing to work around Beer and Wine and take necessary trainings.
• Ability to make crepes

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
