JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Supervise and coordinate all FOH
  • Oversee guest services and resolve issues
  • Ensure a high quality of customer service and guest relations
  • Train and manage FOH/Bar personnel
  • Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulation
  • Motivate staff to ensure highest level of energy and sales
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Oversee alcohol ordering, pricing and bar inventory on daily/weekly basis
  • Hire, train and develop FOH/bar staff
  • Ensure all alcohol policy and procedures are adhered to
  • Manage the business aspects of the bar, such as keeping a current liquor license, negotiating supplier contracts, taking inventory and reordering supplies, managing budgets, and setting goals.
  • Creating effective schedules and quickly resolving conflicts to ensure that restaurant is well staffed during peak hours.
  • Hold weekly staff meeting to resolve issues.
  • Work with owners as a partnership on all aspects of business
  • Strong knowledge of food production, kitchen management, and the food industry
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Work requires effective communication in English, both verbal and written form in a professional manner.
  • Must present a neat and professional appearance.
  • Work requires flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Work requires visual abilities needed to safely operate motorized equipment.
  • Work requires attention to detail and must have visual capabilities needed to inspect work upon completion to avoid leaving deficient work.
  • Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
  • Must be able to obtain a required Virginia Lottery Non-Gaming License.
  • Must be able to obtain a Virginia ABC MART Certification.
  • ServSafe Certification preferred.

PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

  • Fast paced, high volume environment involving constant public.
  • Requires standing, walking, and lifting a minimum of 15-20lbs repeatedly.
  • Shifts may vary based on business needs.
  • Must be able to tolerate secondary tobacco smoke.

I understand the Casino and its surrounding areas are under constant surveillance, and that as an employee of Caesars Virginia, I will be under that surveillance. I also acknowledge that I have had my photograph taken and understand it will be kept on file with Caesars Virginia Surveillance Department.
