Job Summary

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders from guests using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring efficient order processing.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining excellent customer service, engaging with guests to enhance their experience.
  • Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering duties and processing payments securely.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards.
  • Assist in setting up banquet events or catering functions as needed, providing attentive service throughout the event duration.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently during busy hours.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet environments.
  • Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and retail math are essential.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of alcohol laws; certification may be required depending on location.
