Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and make them feel welcome.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following Marriott standards and Iowa state laws.
• Create a clean, inviting, and well-stocked bar area.
• Ensure all beverages are presented professionally and consistently.
• Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
• Maintain inventory, restock supplies, and communicate any shortages.
• Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for all guest transactions.
• Collaborate with the front desk and hospitality teams to enhance the guest experience.
• Follow all local, state, and hotel safety and sanitation procedures.

Requirements:

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Prior bartending or hospitality experience preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain an Iowa Alcohol Server Certification.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
