Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol service regulations, including proper food handling and responsible serving practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light meals during busy hours or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, and balance cash drawers at shift end.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during high-volume periods such as nightclub nights or large events.

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as fine dining, restaurant service, catering, or retail math is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS and Focus POS; experience with cashiering is a plus.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect quickly with diverse guests.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Familiarity with food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Experience working in nightclubs or dive bar environments enhances your ability to adapt to fast-paced settings.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, billing, and sales transactions; brewing knowledge is a bonus for bar operations. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.87 - $25.14 per hour
