Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant, family-run business (of over 47 years). In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, creating memorable experiences for guests through exceptional service, expertly crafted drinks, and a lively atmosphere. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and eager to return. You have the chance to work on our popular seasonal waterfront bar/restaurant which is very busy all season! Chance to make a lot of tips each shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that exceeds expectations.
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving snacks or light meals in a fast-paced environment such as nightclubs or banquet settings.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, perform basic math calculations for bills, tips, and change, while managing time efficiently during busy hours.
• Support catering events or special functions by setting up bar stations and ensuring smooth operation throughout the event.
• Keep track of inventory levels, restock supplies promptly, and communicate needs to management.

Experience

• Prior experience working as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• As long as you're willing to work hard, we will train you.
