Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote repeat visits.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities, while maintaining accountability.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and food handling regulations.
• Assist with food service when needed, including serving food at bars or during catering events like banquets.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service without compromising quality or safety standards.

Skills

• Proven experience in food industry roles such as fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math skills are a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse guests and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless order processing.
• Excellent time management skills to juggle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and beverage preparation techniques.
• Experience in catering or food service environments enhances your ability to adapt quickly to different settings.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, sales tracking, and retail math calculations related to beverage sales. Pay: $6.38 - $8.23 per hour
