Bartender

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities:**

- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages

- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations

- Maintain cleanliness behind the bar and in the customer seating area

- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age

- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently

- Upsell additional products when appropriate

- Monitor and maintain inventory levels

**Requirements:**

- Proven experience as a Bartender or similar role

- Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

- Understanding of food handling procedures

- Familiarity with POS systems

- Strong sales skills to drive revenue through beverage sales

- Excellent time management skills to handle peak hours effectively

**Nice-to-have Skills:**

- Retail math knowledge for pricing and calculating bills accurately

- Previous experience in brewing or familiarity with different types of beer

- Proficiency in Heartland POS system or similar software

- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations in drink preparation

- Background in the food industry for understanding customer preferences
