We are looking for a professional, high-energy bartender with excellent communication skills to serve basic cocktails and beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. The bartender will operate in a fast-paced manner while greeting customers, learn about their preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and snacks. You will also upsell items, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

To succeed as a bartender, you should have a neat appearance and engaging, friendly personality. You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

How You Will Contribute

Position Requirements:

· Welcoming patrons, listening to determine their beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking and preparing drink orders.

· Checking identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.

· Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.

· Maintain a clean work area.

· Record and balance register.

Department and Organization Participation:

· Contribute to department and organizational goals as well as individual goals

· Assist as needed on all department duties as assigned

· Support the organization’s fundraising initiatives and assist as needed at fundraising events

· Contribute to the organization’s mission, vision, values, and commitment to equity

How You Stand Out

• Must be at least 18 years old with current Server Permit (On-Premise) to serve liquor, wine, and high gravity beer is required.
• Minimum 2 years direct experience preferred.
• Saturday and Sunday availability is required.
