Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences, recommend drinks, and promote specials to boost sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Manage cash handling, cashiering, and POS transactions with precision, ensuring accurate billing and payment processing.
• Monitor guest behavior to ensure responsible serving practices, especially during nightclubs or large events like banquets or catering functions.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and utensils regularly to ensure smooth service throughout shifts.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods or special events.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; experience in the food industry is highly valued.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; experience with retail math and basic math skills are essential for accurate cash handling.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure guest safety.
• Ability to manage time effectively during high-volume periods using excellent time management skills.
• Previous experience in serving alcohol responsibly in licensed venues like nightclubs or catering events is preferred.
