Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and personable bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will excel in creating a welcoming atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service, and efficiently managing bar operations. This role requires a strong knowledge of POS systems, food safety standards, and a passion for the food and beverage industry. Candidates must possess a Responsible Vendor Permit.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate POS system for efficient order processing and cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, answer questions about menu items, and promote specials
  • Manage bar inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and assist with ordering when required
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and balance registers at the end of each shift
  • Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest behavior to promote a safe environment

Skills

  • Proficiency with POS systems
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders accurately & efficiently during busy hours
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate order processing
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed, in a fast-paced hospitality setting
  • Proficiency with beverage preparation techniques including brewing and mixing drinks
  • Previous experience with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding of food industry regulations
  • Quickly & accurately enter guest orders in the POS system.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Maintain current and accurate knowledge of the menu offerings.
  • Manage inventory for liquor, wine, beer, and other beverage ingredients.
  • Perform side work as needed.
