Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders swiftly and accurately
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, glassware, utensils, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
• Handle cash transactions efficiently, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end
• Assist in setting up and breaking down bar areas for events like banquets or catering functions

Skills

• Proven experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for seamless order processing
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods in environments like nightclubs or fine dining venues
• Familiarity with serving alcohol responsibly and understanding alcohol laws and regulations
• Experience in the food industry, including restaurant or retail math skills for accurate cash handling and sales tracking
• Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques, brewing processes, and cocktail mixing skills
