Bartender

We are seeking a craft and volume oriented Bartender to join our team in a casual dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for crafting unique cocktails and providing exceptional guest experiences. As a bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving specialty drinks to our guests, while maintaining a clean and organized bar space. The ideal candidate is someone with at least 2 years of experience in a high volume bar environment, with the ability to use jiggers as measurement tools, a attention to detail, hospitable nature towards guests and team members.

**Duties:**

- Prepare and serve specialty cocktails, beer, and wine to guests in a high-volume dining setting.

- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations.

- Work effectively in a team environment to provide excellent customer service, including greeting and serving guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.

- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the bar top, glassware, and storage areas.

- Manage cash handling and operate a POS system efficiently.

- Assist with food service, including serving appetizers and assisting with food delivery.

- Participate in banquet and catering events, including setting up and serving drinks and hors d'oeuvres.

- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of the food industry and current trends in mixology.

**Requirements:**

- Can follow the Liquor Commission guidelines of rights to refuse service relating

- Previous experience in the food industry, preferably in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant setting.

- Strong knowledge of cocktails, beer, and wine, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing recommendations.

- Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds including cases of liquor bottles, soda and wine.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.

- Ability to manage cash handling and operate a POS system efficiently.

- Experience with time management and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Familiarity with the basics of measuring like using jiggers, scales and kitchen tools to produce cocktails.

- A passion for providing exceptional customer service and helping others.

- Ability to work in a dynamic and social setting.

- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform tasks that require manual dexterity and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: Up to $100,000.00 per year
