Job Overview:

We’re looking for an experienced Bartender who can whip up nostalgic cocktails, provide outstanding customer service, and keep the party going all night long. As part of our 80s-themed bar team, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, maintaining an energetic and friendly atmosphere, and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile. Key Responsibilities:

• Beverage Preparation & Service: Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes, as well as customize drinks to meet customer preferences (bonus points for adding an 80’s twist!).
• Customer Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and engaging with guests, taking drink orders, and ensuring timely delivery of beverages. Create a fun, retro experience for every patron while maintaining professionalism.
• Bar Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area. This includes washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and ensuring everything is stocked and ready to go. A tidy bar equals happy guests!
• Order & Payment Handling: Operate the POS system to process orders and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring that all orders are delivered without delay.
• Inventory Management: Assist with monitoring stock levels, reporting shortages to management, and keeping the bar well-supplied with spirits, mixers, and glassware. Helping with inventory means never running out of the essentials!
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during busy periods. Whether it’s coordinating with the kitchen for food orders or assisting with other team members, teamwork is key.
• Time Management: Manage multiple orders at once while delivering quality service under pressure. Whether it’s a busy Friday night or a packed event, you’ll handle it with style.
• Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, as well as responsible alcohol service guidelines. We want our guests to have fun, but safety always comes first.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bartender in a restaurant, nightclub, or similar setting is preferred. (If you’ve worked in a themed environment before, that’s a plus!)
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle high-volume service periods while maintaining quality and consistency.
• A passion for mixology and a willingness to learn and grow with the team. A flair for creating signature '80s-inspired drinks is a big plus!
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A love for 80s music, movies, and culture will fit right into our vibe—but if you need a refresher on the classics, we’re happy to school you!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.74 - $18.25 per hour
