Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their experience and foster repeat business.
• Manage bar inventory by tracking stock levels, restocking supplies, and placing orders as needed.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety regulations and health standards.
• Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems while managing cash handling procedures.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate serving food orders during busy periods or special events like banquets or catering functions.
• Uphold responsible serving practices by monitoring guest alcohol consumption and adhering to legal drinking age regulations.
• Assist in setting up for special events at nightclubs or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service skills by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining settings, nightclubs, or banquet environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient order processing.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations simultaneously during peak hours.
• Exceptional customer service abilities to create a welcoming atmosphere for diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash handling, billing, and sales calculations.
• Previous retail math or hospitality experience is advantageous for managing sales transactions effectively.
• Experience with brewing or beverage crafting techniques is a plus for enhancing drink offerings.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth operations during busy nights or events.
