Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and food options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently, including cash handling and credit card processing.
• Restock bar supplies, monitor inventory levels, and place orders as needed to ensure seamless service during busy hours.
• Assist in setting up for special events like banquets or catering functions, ensuring all beverage needs are met promptly.
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies by monitoring guest consumption and preventing over-serving.

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality environments, especially within fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively while managing multiple tables or bar stations.
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during high-volume periods without compromising quality.
• Familiarity with food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, retail math for inventory management, and calculating bills or tips.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
