Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, answer questions, and recommend drinks based on preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor guest behavior and ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with legal regulations.
• Uphold high standards of food safety and food handling practices throughout all aspects of service.

Skills

• Proficiency with POS systems. Strong cash handling skills are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests positively and handle challenging situations professionally.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy shifts.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for cash transactions and drink measurements.
• Experience in serving at food industry venues such as restaurants or catering events.
• Familiarity with food industry standards for responsible alcohol service and guest safety.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with team members across different departments.
