Bartender

Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and skilled Bartender to join our team. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. This role also includes completing daily bar prep tasks to ensure the bar is fully stocked and ready for service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer requests
• Provide attentive and friendly service to guests at the bar and in the service well
• Verify guest identification and ensure responsible alcohol service
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, including glassware, tools, and work areas
• Complete bar prep tasks before and during shifts (cutting fruit, batching ingredients, stocking garnishes, restocking beer/wine/liquor, preparing syrups or mixers as needed)
• Handle cash, tabs, and POS transactions accurately
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cleaning and restocking the bar

Qualifications:

• Previous bartending experience preferred
• Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–40 lbs
• Must meet the legal age requirement for serving alcohol

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with POS systems
• Ability to maintain organization during high-volume service
• Team-oriented attitude and willingness to help with bar prep and support tasks

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $7.25 per hour

• Serving Experience: 1 year (Preferred)
