Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and making recommendations.
• Operate the POS system (Aloha POS preferred) efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils.
• Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service guidelines.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during catering events to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions responsibly while maintaining accurate records.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with sales techniques to promote drink specials or upsell menu items is a plus.
• Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food industry is highly desirable.
• Experience with catering services is an advantage but not mandatory.
