Duties

• Drink Preparation: Mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately according to recipes.
• Customer Service: Engaging with guests, making recommendations, taking orders, and creating a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
• Bar Maintenance: Keeping the bar area clean, organized, and sanitary (washing glasses, cleaning tools, wiping surfaces).
• Inventory & Stocking: Restocking ice, garnishes, liquor, mixers, and glassware throughout the shift.
• Safety & Compliance: Verifying customer age, adhering to alcohol laws, monitoring for intoxication, and refusing service when necessary.
• Cash Handling: Operating a POS system, managing tabs, and accurately processing payments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: Prior experience as a bartender or in a related hospitality role is typically preferred.
• Knowledge: Strong knowledge of mixology, cocktail recipes, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with customers and work well with service staff.
• Multitasking: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple orders and priorities.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs).
• Certifications: Responsible beverage service certification (e.g., TIPS) is required by 4/1/26.

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
