Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of beverage preparation, and experience in fast-paced food and beverage environments. This role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, mixing drinks accurately, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards. Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, or banquet settings is highly desirable. The successful <PERSON> will contribute to an enjoyable guest experience while maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with recipes and presentation standards
• Engage with customers to ensure a positive experience, taking orders and offering recommendations
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and cash handling
• Manage multiple drink orders efficiently during busy periods using excellent time management skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation regulations
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking practices
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events such as banquets or catering functions to ensure seamless service
• Handle cash transactions accurately and balance cash register at shift end

Skills

• Proficiency in POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally
• Experience in food handling, food safety, and beverage preparation in fine dining or nightclub settings
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
• Knowledge of retail math, basic math, and cash handling procedures
• Ability to serve alcohol responsibly while adhering to legal regulations
• Previous experience in banquet service, catering, or hospitality environments preferred
• Familiarity with food industry standards, including food safety protocols and responsible alcohol service
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
