Bartender

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for providing exceptional customer service and have experience in the food service industry. As a Bartender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an enjoyable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using Toast POS systems.
• Provide recommendations on menu items, including upselling specials and pairings to enhance the dining experience.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and assisting with sanitation practices.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate order preparation and timely service.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills, ensuring all transactions are completed efficiently.

Experience

• Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred, with knowledge of culinary practices being a plus.
• Familiarity with Toast for reservations and guest management is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively while maintaining high service standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests and provide exceptional guest relations.
• Understanding of food handling, preparation, and safety protocols within the food industry is essential.
