Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and personable bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to enhance their overall experience and promote sales of drinks and food items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards at all times.
- Manage cash handling responsibilities including cashiering duties, processing payments accurately, and balancing registers at shift end.
- Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies as needed, and communicate supply needs to management proactively.
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations, alcohol service laws, and safety protocols throughout your shift.
- Collaborate with team members during busy periods such as nightclubs or banquet events to deliver seamless service under pressure.
- Utilize basic math skills for accurate portioning, pricing, and change calculation while supporting retail math practices when applicable.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is highly preferred, Bar or nightclub environments.
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during high-volume shifts while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and proper food handling techniques is essential.
- Prior catering or banquet experience will be advantageous for event-based service settings.
- Strong sales skills combined with hospitality expertise help drive guest satisfaction and revenue growth.
