Bartender

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team in a vibrant hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and customer service, with experience in fine dining or nightlife settings. This role requires proficiency in using POS systems and the ability to manage time effectively while providing exceptional service to guests.

Duties

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Utilize Brunswick Sync POS and Worldpay CC systems for order processing and payment transactions.
• Engage with customers, providing recommendations and ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, maintaining proper cash handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food service during busy periods, including banquets and catering events.
• Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and cocktail preparation to enhance the guest experience.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience in a restaurant, nightclub, or catering environment is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Proficiency in basic math for cash handling and sales reporting.
• Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Experience using POS systems such as Brunswick or Worldpay is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of retail math is beneficial for inventory management purposes.
