Black Sheep Kitchen & Cocktails is a full-service restaurant and bar in Riverbank, CA. Located in the heart of downtown Riverbank. We’re looking for an experienced bartender who can deliver excellent service and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bartender/Server with strong service experience, the ability to handle multiple responsibilities, and the professionalism to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years bartending experience in a full-service restaurant

• Server experience, including managing multiple tables and a full food menu

• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine

• Able to work solo when required (slow shifts, late nights, or when scheduled alone)

• Menu knowledge and memorization skills

• Order accuracy and strong attention to detail

• Customer retention skills — building rapport and creating repeat guests

• Positive attitude, strong communication, and teamwork

• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

• Must be 21+ with valid ID

• Current CA RBS certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Prepare cocktails accurately, consistently, and efficiently

• Provide excellent service to bar guests and tables

• Take and deliver food orders with accuracy

• Maintain a clean, organized bar and follow opening/closing procedures

• Handle cash and POS transactions correctly

• Learn and retain menu items, specials, and seasonal cocktails

• Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business

• Support servers and the team during busy shifts

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.90 per hour
