Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, take drink orders accurately, and serve beverages promptly while maintaining a lively and engaging demeanor
• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and specialty beverages, ensuring quality standards are met
• Manage POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders efficiently, handle cash transactions, and maintain accurate sales records
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and other essentials to keep the bar fully equipped during busy hours
• Collaborate with kitchen staff during events like banquets or catering functions to coordinate food and beverage service seamlessly

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially within fine dining or nightclub settings
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse personalities
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and managing tabs accurately
• Familiarity with food safety protocols, food handling procedures, and proper alcohol serving practices
• Experience with banquet events or catering services is a plus; knowledge of brewing or food industry standards is beneficial
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays in a dynamic environment
